Frequently Asked Questions

Yes, reservations are required for boarding and daycare. We recommend making reservations at least 2 weeks to one month prior to your pets stay as rooms fill up fast! We will do our best to accommodate last minute requests.

We understand things happen and do not always go as planned. we require at least 48 hours notice of any cancellation. Cancellations made less than 48 hours in advance will result in full payment of scheduled boarding. 

We accept cash, check, credit card and Venmo payments. All credit card and Venmo payments will result in a 3% finance charge. Any returned checks will result in a $30 additional charge. All payments are due upon drop-off.

If your pet requires any emergency medical attention while in our care, we will use your veterinary office specified in the registration form on file. If it is after hours and your vet office is closed, we will use an emergency clinic of our choice. 

The Yellowbone Doggy Ranch requires you make a reservation for drop-off/pick-up. Reservations will be made in 15-minute increments between 7:30a-10:30a and 3:30p-5:00p M-F. Saturday and Sunday times will be made by appointment only. Please specify on your appointment request form which drop-off/pick-up time you need. If you need a different pick-up/drop-off time, we will do our best to accommodate your needs.

Pets MUST be picked up on their scheduled day, as we have other scheduled pets coming in and need time to clean and sanitize the rooms. You MUST have a back-up person to pick up your pet if your flights or pick-up times are delayed. Early pick-ups not scheduled 48 hours in advance, will result in full scheduled payment. Any remaining balance resulting from any early pick-up will be credited to your account for an additional boarding/daycare.

Of course! We want your pets to feel just as comfortable as if they were at home. We do provide a bed in each room, along with food bowls, so it is not required to bring your own. 

When you come for drop-ff, you MUST bring your pet in on a leash. In addition, you will also provide food for each day of their stay (and maybe a little extra just in case!), along with medication if they are on any. That's it! We provide feeding bowls, toys, beds and treats!

Here at The Yellowbone Doggy Ranch, we go outside a minimum of 5 times per day, sometimes more! Your dog will be able to interact with other dogs if you wish, with lots of exercise and playtime. A couple of the outdoor sessions will even include playtime with our kids, who have endless amounts of energy. Country music, from our favorite local radio station, 98.9 WPIW, is also provided to soothe your pet while you are away! We really want nothing but the BEST for your pet while in our care!   

Side note: If your dog likes rap or pop music, that will consist of an extra charge!
